Merry Christmas

Well, the festivities are over and boy did we have a good time! Oh wait, we are headed out of town tomorrow to have another bit of festivities with the family up in Washington!!!
Christmas Eve was spent at Grandpa Dave and Grandma Kimi's house. Then Christmas Day at our house with Grandpa and Grandma Bell.

Here are some pictures of the princess and how much she enjoyed Christmas this year!

Making cookies for Santa
Checking out her stocking at the Millers
More stocking and a silly Grandpa Dave
Uncle Ben and cousin Titus opening a gift
Opening her stocking Christmas morning
Oh boy, a ring pop!
The family watching Harlee
Harlee in the presents waiting to open them
Opening one
Her pretend coffee maker...she LOVES it!
Her sleeping bag, also LOVES it!
Looks like she is singing, but let me explain this one...She put her sleeping bag in the backpack and went for a "walk", this is where she ended up so she say down to eat her banana...TOO CUTE!
Harlee was SUCH a good girl today and had so much fun! I will never forget the true meaning of Christmas, but having Harlee has really brought a new spark to the fun!

Playing in the snow

Last night Harlee REALLY wanted to go play in the snow, so I got her suited up and we went outside. The pictures make it look like it was SUPER late, but it wasn't totally dark yet.

The finished product...don't mind the pine needles, this was on our deck and the snow isn't that deep right now!

What I have accomplished today...

So I read another blog and she is like wonder woman, he name is Kaycee. Anyways, she put up a post today and in it she wrote what she accomplished today. I thought I would write down what I accomplished today, maybe it will make me feel like I got more done, or maybe not! We shall see...

3 loads of laundry, washed, dried, folded (not yet put away)
Finished up my Christmas shopping by going to 3 stores
Did some bookkeeping work
Balanced my checkbook
Unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher
Nope, don't even compare! Oh well! I am going to be getting ready for my work Christmas party here soon. Harlee is spending the night with Grandma Kimi and Grandpa Dave so Dustin and I can go and not have to worry about hurrying home.
I am hoping that it snows like they say it is going to tonight so Harlee can play outside in it tomorrow and I can take pictures!
Speaking of pictures, I have taken so many lately, I need to start developing them and then have a scrapbook day in January so that I can get them in Harlee's album before the baby comes!
Anyways, Happy Friday to all!

The decorated tree

Harlee and I just got finished decorating the tree. Keep in mind that I am almost 7 months pregnant so I definitely didn't decorate as much as I normally would. Also, we don't have a tree topper, boo! I need to pick one up. Here is a picture!

Christmas Tree Hunting...

Dustin, Harlee and I went out to the woods today and found ourselves a Christmas Tree. Dustin is currently working on getting it in the stand and in the house so I will post those pics later!

And we are off to find that perfect tree!
Covering our ears because the chainsaw is running
Looking at the tree we found before we cut it down
There it is! Our tree!
On the way down Harlee had to potty, I got her pants down and she started going before she squated...this is a hard thing to teach little girls...boys have it MUCH easier in the woods!

The only other pants we had were her snow pants, but she was ok with that.
Having lunch on the tailgate
Our little family
Harlee and daddy drinking their hot chocolate
Harlee's little owie...she fell a couple times and this was her only war wound

Harlee got her big girl bed!

So about a month ago or so, my mom and dad bought Harlee her big girl bed. I couldn't wait to put it together, but had to wait until my dad painted the baby room so that there was some place to put the toddler bed/crib. So, the room is painted and Harlee's big girl bed is put together. We took her to the store last night to let her pick out a bedding set. She wanted Dora, but daddy talked her into the one you will see in the pictures. I am glad he did, it is SUPER cute! The only problem is that she had a REALLY hard time going to sleep last night. I am not sure if it was the new bed, but I think it might have been because one of the MANY times I went in there because she was crying SUPER hard, she told me, "I want my old bed back". Well, daddy finally was able to get her all tucked in, but used her old covers and pillow. Here are some pictures of last night.

Right after it was all put together

All cuddled up
Harlee telling daddy to shut his eyes

Pretending to sleep

All done except for some moving of toys under the bed and then a few more "ideas" I have in my head!
