Big day around our house

Well today was a big day. First of all, Dustin is at training this week. Yesterday and Monday, my mom and aunt were with Harlee, Kamdin and I all day. They were a HUGE help to me, doing laundry, dishes, playing with Harlee, etc. Today, nobody has been with me. Just me and the kids. I know, it doesn't sound like that big of a deal, but really it is!

So, the morning went by, super easy, then I decided after Harlee had quiet time, we would venture out of the house. We went to Target, then the bank. I can't even begin to tell you how good Harlee was at Target AND she walked next to the cart, I was pretty impressed! It was a really easy venture, yay!

Then when we got home, I cleaned our bathroom, well, all but the shower. I also started a load of laundry (trying to keep up with it!). Now I really should go clean Harlee's bathroom, but I am thinking about doing that tomorrow and instead straightening up the living room.

Tonight we are going out to dinner with some friends. I am pretty tired at this point, but maybe, just maybe, I will get a second wind...now if I can time feeding Kamdin JUST right so I don't have to feed him at the restaurant!

I haven't been taking as many pictures as I should, but thought I would share a couple!

Some may know that Kamdin isn't gaining weight as fast as they would like him to, but we are hoping and praying that he will have gained quite a bit when we take him in on Tuesday.

Kamdin Cru made his appearance a month early!

Well, as most of you know, Kamdin Cru Miller made his appearance a month before his due date, which was about 3.5 weeks before my scheduled c-section...this was all a surprise to us, that is for sure!

Dustin was working night shift, Harlee spent the night at Grandma Kimi and Grandpa Dave's house and I spent the night at my parents house. At about 5:30am, I woke up to an odd feeling, went into the bathroom and thought that maybe my water broke, but didn't think that much of it. Went back to bed and it happened again...after about 30 min, I woke my mom and dad up and I called the Dr. office...this was on Feb 1st. They said that it sounded like my water and to come on into the hospital. I took a shower and off my mom and I went. When I got there, they tested it and sure enough, that is what happened...then it all started...everyone got ready and they took me in for my c-section!

I really need to take more pictures!

I was just sitting here thinking that I really need to take more pictures lately. Harlee is growing up so fast. We played in her room this morning, which she called, "Strawberry Shortcakes House". She lined up a bunch of her dolls and stuffed animals to hang out there and then she put them all down for a nap. She is so funny!

Anyways, I wish I had taken some pictures. Oh well, I WILL remember my camera when I take her to open play at gymnastics tomorrow morning!

Oh and I will take pictures of the baby room and post those soon, as well.

Well, my baby shower was this past Sunday and it was VERY nice. My mom and my friend Kacey put it on for me. It was at my house, small and low key, just like I wanted!

Rambling

Just thought that I would ramble a little bit since I haven't posted in awhile...

So, my latest aches and pains of pregnancy include my lower back and butt. Holy moly, I will NOT miss this part about being pregnant! In fact, I think the only thing that I will miss is feeling the baby move in my belly, that is such a cool feeling!

Have I mentioned that this is it for us? Our family will be completed with one pretty princess and a handsome prince! Could we ask for anything more? I don't think so!

Harlee was such a good girl today and we had a lot of fun...let me back up a couple days really quick. We have had some BEAUTIFUL weather here for like that past week. Harlee went to the park 3 times in the last 7 days, what a lucky girl! And get this, I took her 2 times and forgot my camera BOTH times, dang it! My mom and dad took her the first time last Saturday and didn't have theirs either. I wish I would have caught it on camera because going to the park in January is normally unheard of, oh well!

So today it was dramatically colder, like about 40 degrees colder than yesterday, crazy! I took her to open gym at the gymnastics center and boy did she have fun! She used to go there for class, but she wasn't listening and would just run around so I decided to pull her out. Well, at open gym, you can do just that, run around and play so it was perfect! And with such cold weather, it was nice and warm inside!

Harlee has been doing good switching from naptime to quiet time. She just doesn't want to nap anymore and let me tell you, it makes for a MUCH nicer bedtime! She isn't throwing huge fits or crying for long periods of time anymore. The only thing is that tonight, she wanted to go to bed, so I read her a couple books and when I went to cover her up, she wanted to do something with some paper that "Strawberry Shortcake" does. I decided to go ahead and let her do that and told her that she needed to put herself to bed. Well, I haven't gone to check on her yet...it has been 15 minutes, but I highly doubt that she is in bed sleeping yet. I will go check in about 10 more min.

My baby shower is tomorrow, I am sure to have pictures of that to post, never fear! I wanted it to be small since it is my second kid and all. Some people have said to invite more because that is more gifts and because I am having a boy this time, well, most of Harlee's stuff, I can use again and I am not in it for the gifts. We had about 15 or so people RSVP that they would be there, now I just hope they all show up! I just want to have a good time with friends and family!

Well, I guess I will go check on Harlee, then it will be time to watch Cops and put some laundry away!
