Lazy Saturday

Well, I missed Wordless Wednesday this week. Dustin and I went camping with some people he works with. Harlee stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Bell. She was a very good girl and we had a good time.

Other than that, it is pretty much just a lazy Saturday around here. Harlee and I went out to lunch with Grandma Bell and then all headed over and did some shopping at Costco.

Now Harlee is taking a nap and I need to get some work done, although, I feel like laying down and taking a nap...might do that actually! We will see.

Me, Me, Me, Monday...well, WE!

My mom and dad took Harlee and I to the zoo yesterday. Dustin was working...boo!

Well, we had a really good time. There was a baby elephant born at the zoo on Saturday night. They didn't have him out to see, but we got to see pictures and he is SO cute! Harlee was a good girl while we were there. Last night she didn't want to go to bed because she was SO over tired. Today we drove home and we were home for about an hour and she wanted to watch TV...I told her no TV because she watched DVDs all the way home from Portland. She started crying (a good sign she is tired) and I told her to just go take a little break in her room. Well, she went in and laid on her bed and I haven't seen her since, she is knocked out! She didn't take a nap on the way home today. She said she had to go potty and then started dozing, I didn't want her to potty in her pants so we stopped and then she perked back up. Oh well, she is sleeping now!

Well, it happened. Dustin is laying on the couch not feeling good. He seemed to have caught our bug. The bummer about this is that I used SO many antibacterial wipes to wipe down the house today and now I will have to do it again tomorrow...blah! That is a lot of work. Luckily Dustin is more contained than Harlee. She has SOOOO many toys so I had to wipe down everything that she played with yesterday! Dustin is just the couch, our bedroom and our bathroom. I guess I can handle that. Maybe I knew what was coming because I didn't do our bathroom yet anyways.

Hopefully this will be my last "sick" post!

Warm days and cool days

So we have had some REALLY hot days lately and then BAM it cooled off. I have to tell you that I am TOTALLY loving the cooler weather!

Olympics

So, I am totally addicted to the Olympics, BUT they are on SO late that I have a hard time watching them. The first few nights, no problem, since then, I fall asleep on the couch watching them. Oh well. I just catch up the next morning.

I do have to say how disappointed I am that I missed the Women's Balance Beam last night. I watched up until the girl before the USA came on and fell asleep during a commercial. Boo!!! I am SUPER excited to see that Shawn Johnson WON THE GOLD though! She is awesome!

I am hoping that since tonight is the Women's Beach Volleyball finals, I can stay awake to watch though. I haven't seen more than a couple matches, but man alive, the USA is GOOD!

Wordless Wednesday...Not so wordless

Not so wordless today because we aren't looking so cute after being sick yesterday! I will take a picture of Harlee when she is up from her nap with her craft of the week. Today we made a tambourine. I am hoping that I can get her to decorate it a little more before I take the picture, it is pretty plain as of now, but she LOVES to make noise with it!

I am 12 weeks preggo now! Almost past this first trimester and SUPER excited about it! I don't go back to the Dr. until Sept. 18th which seems like FOREVER from now!

Oh ya and we are feeling better and Dustin is good so far. Let's hope he continues to stay healthy. He is taking extra vitamins and such so we shall see.

AND...my mom, dad and I are taking Harlee to the Portland Zoo on Monday so you might not see a Me, Me, Me, Monday this week...you will have to settle for picture overload of Miss Harlee at the zoo!

Well, not too much else going on here at home today, just being pretty lazy and laying low, hoping to feel 100% soon!

Now let's call it...getting worse Tuesday!

Ok, so I went to work for part of the day, but I wasn't feeling good so I came home. I thought maybe just maybe it was this baby in the belly. No such luck...I also have the flu! BLAH! Now the countdown begins until Dustin gets it.
